Nicole Smith, founder and CEO of Denver-based Mary’s Medicinals, claims in a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Denver that RX Green owner Joshua Meacham began in August 2015 trying to get other businesses to stop buying and selling her products.
Smith claims Meacham used aliases to e-mail her to complain about poor customer experiences, file complaints with state and Denver regulators and inform other medical-marijuana businesses about it all.
Meacham did not immediately respond to efforts to reach him.
The lawsuit did not detail the extent of the complaints or their substance.
The outcome of the alleged harassment was a loss of business for Mary’s, a number of unfounded investigations and inspections by regulators, and damage to the business’s reputation, the lawsuit alleges.
