The recent South Park Music and Camping Festival in the Colorado high country provided a chill, outdoorsy and 420-friendly way to spend Independence Day this year. Performances from the Sativa, Indica and Hybrid stages (see what they did there?) included cannabis music icons Steel Pulse, Collie Buddz, Kottonmouth Kings and Slightly Stoopid among other musical favorites in a packed schedule — Flobots, Congo Sanchez, Melissa Ivey, The Aggrolites, Matisyahu and Tech N9ne.
The music was already smoking. What I wanted to know was what strains people were smoking. As I walked around, I here’s a sample of what I heard from the campers and fellow festivarians:
