“WEED AND SPORTS AREN’T FOR EVERYONE.” Our Weed Sport columnist took on Austin’s Town Lake in a kayak while breaking from the mania of the South by Southwest music festival for this week’s trip, where he learned that smoking weed while partaking in athletic exercise isn’t for everyone. Check it.
IMPORTANCE OF PRIVACY IN RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA. Whereas medical marijuana patients have to apply with the state for a license and show that license and another state ID everytime they make a purchase, recreational buyers need only prove they’re 21 with a quick flash of a driver’s license or passport. And that’s the way many customers like it: “We have so many violations of privacy in our lives already,” one customer said. “We don’t have a Fourth Amendment anymore.
