Will Denver police ticket smokers at 4/20 rally? (videos)

Miguel Lopez is the man who pulls the permit annually for the big 4/20 rally in Denver’s Civic Center. With the big day out only two months away, Lopez is a busy man.

The Denver Post editorial board recently hosted Lopez — a longtime marijuana advocate in Colorado known for his passionate, if meandering, activism — for one of its Round Table discussions.

The above video features Lopez talking about what to expect at this year’s 4/20 rally, why he’s hoping to have a one-day permit issued for public pot consumption on April 20th (not unlike the alcohol permits issued to Taste of Colorado and PrideFest) and his feelings on police involvement at 4:20 p.m. on April 20, 2014.
