• Michigan and Nevada are among the U.S. states most likely to legalize pot by 2017 — while Texas and Indiana are among the least likely states, according to a new report by consulting firm Anderson Economic Group. The 270-page Market for Legal Cannabis Products in the 50 United States report estimates the market demand for legal marijuana across the U.S., and also lists six states least likely to legalize by 2017. –Report by The Cannabist’s Ricardo Baca

• Forgive me if I’m skeptical when I hear about celebrity weed brands. Walking into LivWell’s Larimer Street location, I noticed the only thing missing for the launch of the Snoop Dogg Leafs by Snoop product line was a cardboard cutout of Da Big Boss Dogg himself. The boxes that each eighth of flower is housed in may give the appearance of quality, much like adding weights to Beats headphones, but “leafs” don’t lie. Are these strains any good?
