Teacher did what? Arrest in Louisiana after students given pot brownies

COVINGTON, La. — A former Archbishop Hannan High School teacher turned herself in after being accused of passing out brownies laced with marijuana to two girls.

Multiple news outlets report 29-year-old Camille Brennan turned herself in Thursday, one day after the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant for her arrest.

Officials say Brennan admitted to supplying two juvenile female students at the high school with pot brownies May 1. One girl’s parents alerted school officials that evening, and the school’s principal contacted the Sheriff’s Office the same day.

Brennan resigned from the school while under investigation. She was booked into the jail on two counts of distribution of marijuana and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

It is unclear if Brennan has a lawyer.
