Colorado 4/20: Snoop Dogg Wellness Retreat at Fiddler’s

Snoop Dogg is moving his 4/20 concert from the foothills to the city.

For the second annual Wellness Retreat on 4/20, Snoop Dogg has recruited A$AP Rocky and 2 Chainz to ring in the marijuana holiday at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre.

“Snoop invites guests to Inhale, Exhale and Recharge for a once in a lifetime concert in a state that celebrates and protects legal marijuana,” says an official press release. Though, what that means in a venue where it’s prohibited to actually smoke marijuana, we’re not sure.

Last year, Snoop’s Wellness Retreat brought Wiz Khalifa, YG, Smoke DZA and more to Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

“He’s the reason I know how to smoke weed,” Wiz Khalifa said during his set at Red Rocks last year.

From our review of the show:

Mostly, though, the slender Dogg – dressed in a red track suit with the word C.O.K.E. on the shoulders (Coke Boys Clothing, not the drink), shades firmly in place, braids tightly pulled into a ponytail — was all business, throwing out a mellow “Happy 4/20” here and a “Who’s got the mother****ing sticky?” there, but keeping to a brisk but steady pace.

With 4/20 taking place on Easter in 2014, we decided to hang out at the mountain venue from sunrise to sundown — witnessing the Easter service in the a.m. and Snoop’s weed concert in the p.m. It was an interesting experience, showing the dichotomy of people who use the legendary amphitheater. And you can read about it here.

Tickets for the 2015 4/20 concert at Fiddler’s go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 13 and cost $37.50-$69.75.
