Video: Snoop Dogg will play Alaska concert if voters there legalize weed

How’s this for activism: Snoop Dogg said he’ll schedule a concert in Alaska if voters there approve a ballot measure that will legalize recreational marijuana in November.

If Ballot Measure 2 passes in Alaska in November, “Snoop Dogg is coming to Alaska for a concert, a wellness retreat, coming out with Cali kush,” Snoop said on the MC’s online show “GGN: The Double G News Network,” embedded above.

When Snoop dropped the news he was speaking with Charlo Greene, the “f*ck it, I quit” former TV reporter who resigned from her Anchorage affiliate with a live-on-air F-bomb and an admission that she owned a cannabis business in Alaska. In the GGN interview with Greene, Snoop thanked her for “being a great advocate and taking a stand for something that is so real for people around the world.”

Greene responded, “Thank you, Snoop — you normalized it. You made it so it wasn’t this mysterious thing. You are successful and you smoke weed!”
