Obama in Denver: weed offers & other horsin’ around

Of course President Barack Obama was offered marijuana while he was in Denver — multiple times, even.

“Do you wanna hit this?” one gentlemen asked the president on Tuesday evening. He even Instagrammed the moment, which gave the commander in chief a laugh:

Instagram user manton89 tagged the video: “Asked him if he wanted a hit of pot…he laughed! #legalizeit #iinhaled #mrGQ.”

And it wasn’t even Obama’s first offer of the day. The pool reporter noted that the presidential motorcade saw at least one person holding a sign along the route that said, “Free Weed For Obama.”

But laid-back Coloradans joking with their president about marijuana is to be expected — more so than the guy in a horse mask who shook the president’s hand as he walked through downtown Denver.

Again, Obama simply laughed.
