Remember the time Snoop Dogg hijacked Will Ferrell’s hilarious Reddit AMA to talk weed and cowbell?
As Ferrell pushed through his AMA on Feb. 4 with comedy-gold answers to ridiculous questions, it was clear he was having fun with the Reddit crowd — not unlike when actor-comedian Bill Murray took over Reddit for some hilarity and social commentary.
Question: “Just worked up a major sweat watching Cops. Did you catch today’s rerun?”
Ferrell: “Yes I did and I am drenched in sweat as well. In fact, what is it about watching Cops that gets you so sweaty? I’m glad I’m not the only one. I mean, I don’t know about you but I feel like I’m a part of every episode.”
Question: “Will Ferrell, what is love?”
Ferrell: “Love is a complicated thing to figure out. I don’t know if anyone ever will. I know this much: I love lamp.”
And then, without any warning, in pops Snoop Dogg (a regular Reddit user under the handle Here_Comes_The_King) to ask Ferrell if he’ll play on his next album and smoke some weed with the MC.
Here_Comes_The_King: “ayy Will, imma need some more cowbell on tha next album, u game?”
_WillFerrell: “Of course! I’m absolutely game, Snoop. I’ve also got some beats that I want to run by you. I’m warning you now, they’re not good. edit: In fact, I just talked myself out of it. I’m not going to show them to you.”
Here_Comes_The_King: “boats n hoes part 2 uhearme !! we may need 2 climb some trees first”
_WillFerrell: “I got a lot of trees at my house. Eucalyptus, pine and california oak.”
Here_Comes_The_King: “i got them trees too but u might not make it back down. u a real playa, come thru my GGN show sometime !!”
