Synthetic marijuana sends Denver man to hospital

Denver Police took a man to the hospital this week who said he had smoked spice — synthetic marijuana — called “Girl Scout Cookies.”

Witnesses said the man was walking into traffic and hitting cars Monday, in the area of E. 46th Avenue and N. Durham Court.

One homeowner called police and said the man tried to get into a home on Durham Court, but the homeowner stopped him.

Officer said when they found the suspect, he told them he had smoked a spice called “Girl Scout Cookies.”
