Anyone who has ever rolled a joint — hell, anyone who has ever tried rolling a joint — knows that it’s an art form. There are now classes in Colorado that will teach you how to roll a joint (and sushi, too), and the Denver County Fair held a joint-rolling competition as a part of its Pot Pavilion in 2014.
Rolling a blunt — “a hollowed-out cigar which is then rerolled with weed,” according to The New Cannabis Lexicon — is a different skill entirely. And it’s a skill that some elevate to true art, most notably a California patient and grower who goes by the name ValleyRecreational420.
Valleyrec420’s Instagram page is a veritable wonderland of smoke, and his latest creation — a multitentacled squid blunt — has quite deservingly gone viral.
The blunt itself is a rhapsody in brown …
… and green.
Valleyrec420 lit the tentacles simultaneously.
Amazingly, they burned pretty evenly …
… all the way to the squid’s head. (Think there was a weed-beak in there?)
And, the money shot.
