New York Fashion Week started with a bang(erz) for Miley Cyrus, who was the life of Alexander Wang’s exclusive afterparty last weekend. Making a grand entrance in pasties, she twerked her way around the Bushwick warehouse while chain-smoking weed.

But her official NYFW debut came Wednesday during Jeremy Scott’s Spring 2015 presentation. The designer, who is also the creative director for Moschino, created a number of costumes for the star’s infamous Bangerz Tour and is known for his crazy club-kid couture.

If you follow Cyrus on Instagram, you’re well aware she had a busy summer filled with weed-fueled arts and crafts sessions resulting in pieces that look like a Lisa Frank obsessed 9-year-old on acid. Her supplies of choice in creating pieces like a decorated 5-foot bong: technicolor beads, joints, vibrators, cotton balls, neon hair, plastic toys, USB drives and fan gifts.

Cyrus’ creations have evolved into an official collaboration with Scott, who first saw her work during a Fourth of July party at her Los Angeles home. Models were adorned with Cyrus’ DIY self-proclaimed “Dirty Hippie” accessories, while her sculptures dotted the runway on pedestals.

The actress/singer appropriately graces the cover of V Magazine’s “Rebel” issue totally topless in a sea of stuffed animals, sharing her inspiration behind her new venture as a serious psychedelic artist. The interview is full of profound gems like this one:

“I just sit around and smoke weed anyway, so I might as well sit around, smoke weed, and do something. I love it. I mean, I’m up until seven in the morning doing this stuff all the time. It was much weirder when I started doing it while I was sober.”

Before dancing down the runway with Scott decked out in oversized pot leaf earrings with air fresheners and cigarettes dangling from her neck, Cyrus was seated front row along with Cannabist contributor Whoopi Goldberg.

Didn’t make the Milk Studios guest list Wednesday? Cyrus’ “Dirty Hippie” exhibit is on view at V Magazine’s studio (11 Mercer St.) in New York City.
