Sheriff’s Office finds 20K illegal marijuana plants in Orleans, Southern Humboldt

In the past week, law enforcement tracked down over 20,807 cannabis plants and 42 firearms, acting on search warrants at alleged illegal cannabis grows in Orleans and Southern Humboldt.

As part of its weekly roundup, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office marijuana enforcement team also captured 1,218 pounds of processed marijuana and 600 pounds of marijuana shake.

Law enforcement made six arrests in those areas over the course of the week.
