Denver’s social marijuana use ballot measure passes: Denver’s Initiative 300 allowing social marijuana use at some businesses has passed, with the latest results leaving too few uncounted ballots to flip the result. After waiting days after the election for a definitive result, supporters immediately pivoted to discussing how implementation of Initiative 300 might look — a question that city officials will need to address in coming months. Marijuana cocktails could soon become a thing: Constellation Brands, the alcohol giant that sells Corona beer and Svedka vodka, is considering a new approach to livening up its beverages: marijuana cocktails. “We’re looking at it,” Constellation Chief Executive Officer Rob Sands said in an interview. “There are going to be alcoholic beverages that will also contain cannabis.” –Report by Bloomberg News’ Jennifer Kaplan
