Looking for marijuana jobs? New Pueblo staffing firm is here to help

PUEBLO, Colo. — The entrepreneurs behind a new staffing company based in Pueblo see opportunity in the marijuana industry.

KOAA-TV reports Grasshopper Staffing will open for business Tuesday and can help prospective employees through licensing procedures and provide payroll services for employers.

Amber Wick, one of Grasshopper’s four owners, says the biggest labor demand is for trimmers, who clip leaves from marijuana buds. She also sees demand for skilled growers and budtenders.

As other states consider legalization, Wick sees business possibilities beyond Colorado.
