Wheat Ridge police are seeking a suspect accused of shooting at another man who was selling medical marijuana on Craigslist.

Police are looking for the man, who fired shots at the victim’s car after an argument led to a car chase.

The argument began on May 9 at the Circle K convenience store on 38th and Kipling at about 10:50 p.m., according to a Crime Stoppers news release.

The suspect fired several rounds at the victim’s vehicle near Tabor Street, striking the back window and the driver’s door, the release said. The victim was uninjured and pulled into a truck stop while the suspect fled.

Colorado’s Amendment 64 allows the sale of marijuana only by state-licensed retailers.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
