The 2016 Cannabist Awards are just a few weeks away, and it’s going to be a massive celebration.
This year, we have 40 awards in nine categories up for nomination — as well as 2016’s Cannabist Person of the Year — and the shindig will take place on Nov. 16 in Las Vegas, during one of the biggest industry gatherings of the year, the MJ Business Conference and Expo.
The theme for this year’s awards is “Future Forward.” We’re honoring the forward-thinking innovators, companies and individuals in cannabis industry sectors of technology, hemp, medical advancement, sustainability, research, education, marketing and community, as well as other 420-friendly areas such as security, public service, legal and finance.
