In the market for a new vaporizer? Our critic says these vapes give you the best bang for your buck

Cannabist vape critic Ben Livingston’s vaporizer of preference for oil dabs is the VapeXhale Cloud EVO.

He likes it for its all-glass heating path that can connect to water pipe attachments called “HydraTubes.”

It’ll also run you about $500.

Livingston joins The Cannabist Show to chat vaporizers with Cannabist editor-in-chief Ricardo Baca and what products may work best for the pocketbook.

“It’s actually not, ‘What’s best for your money?’ It’s, ‘What’s your price range?’ first. That’s the biggest consideration,” Livingston says. “If you can’t afford an $800 vaporizer, then you’re not going to get those kinds (of vaporizers).”

Something along the lines of the Maud-Dib Concentrate Box, a steampunk-style hash oil one-hitter that retails around $129, may be more appropriate for some people, he says.
