When hiring, this cannabis CEO and this pot-centric headhunter are looking for these qualities

The legal cannabis industry is booming and awash in job opportunities.

But what does it take to land a position and build a career in marijuana? Andrew Schrot, founder and chief executive officer of cannabis edibles company BlueKudu, and Karson Humiston, a headhunter and founder of Vangst Talent Network, join Cannabist editor-in-chief Ricardo Baca on The Cannabist Show to share some advice for those seeking marijuana jobs.

“It’s important to look for people who have the ability to wear a lot of different hats,” she says. “The entire industry is in startup mode.”
