Carbondale men found with 123 pounds of pot facing charges in Ohio

WEST JEFFERSON, Ohio — Two Carbondale men face felony drug charges after the Ohio State Highway Patrol say troopers found 123 pounds of marijuana with an estimated value of $615,000 in the men’s car.

The patrol says the driver, Kelly Harding, 47, and passenger, Craig Voigt, 46, were jailed on felony drug possession and trafficking charges after being pulled over on Interstate 70.

The agency says troopers stopped the 2014 Subaru station wagon with Colorado license plates on Jan. 13 for following another too closely, then had the vehicle checked by a drug-sniffing dog. That led to a search that revealed the marijuana.
