Video: How does this Bravo star get high? A custom vape pen, that’s how

Andy Cohen is one of the most visible stars on trashy/trendy cable channel Bravo. The network’s former development chief still hosts talk show “Watch What Happens: Live” and executive produces the “Real Housewives” franchise.

And Cohen’s also a total stoner.

Remember when Cohen hosted Whoopi Goldberg on his show and, during the segment called “Teach Me Your Talent,” asked her to teach him how to roll a joint? That was fun. And what about when Cohen quizzed guest Seth Rogen on all of the celebrities he’s gotten high with? (Paul Rudd? Yes. James Franco? No. Yes, seriously.)

Now the tables have turned on Cohen, who is usually the one asking questions. During an episode of Ask Andy this week, a fan on Twitter asked Cohen: “What is your favorite pot smoking utensil?”

And Cohen was quick with an answer — an answer that unexpectedly involved a Colorado-rooted cannabis company.

“A vape,” Cohen said. “It’s very clean. And also a vape with this hash oil … This vape company made me, what is the name of that vape company?”

His assistant Daryn Carp reminded him, “O.penVape.”

“O.penVape,” Cohen kinda remembered. “They’re incredible. They made me my own personalized vapes that say ‘AC420’ on them, with my little face on it. ‘AC360’ is Anderson Cooper’s kinda-nickname and I’m AC420 for obvious reasons.

“But it’s light. It doesn’t get you crazy, just a little lift. I love a vape.”

When contacted on Friday, the O.penVape headquarters in Denver was abuzz with Cohen’s kind words.

“O.penVape had a blast hooking up with Andy,” said Brittany Hallet, the vape pen brand’s marketing manager. “We knew he was a big cannabis fan, so we reached out and the rest is history. The next time we’re in New York we may present him with an inscribed Crunk cup. Mazel, Andy Cohen!”

Later on in the Ask Andy segment, assistant Carp asked Cohen about the weirdest thing he’d ever smoked weed out of.

“Probably an apple,” Cohen said. “I used to make pipes out of soda cans, in the day … I’m really bad at rolling joints, but I could in a pinch.”
