“Well, Canada,” says Damian Abraham, standing in a greenhouse full of chest-high marijuana plants, “we came to Colorado to show you what a regulated marijuana industry can look like.”
And that’s how this telling episode of Vice’s “Canadian Cannabis” series starts. It’s also the thrust of the episode, which takes Fucked Up frontman and Vice contributor Abraham to Vancouver to see how they’re doing it — and then to Denver to see how they could be doing it.
Vice’s video is worth a watch. Abraham even tapped Cannabist editor Ricardo Baca while he was in Denver to talk Colorado marijuana.
