Update: Two juveniles busted breaking into Denver pot shop MMD Colorado

Two juveniles were arrested earlier this month after they triggered an alarm while breaking into a marijuana dispensary, police said.

Denver Police Department officers responded in time to catch a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl loading two cash register drawers, edibles and marijuana into a stolen car, according to the police department’s Facebook page.

The juveniles are accused of breaking into MMD Colorado at 2609 Walnut St. through a rear door and forcing open several doors inside the building, the police said.

One was taken to a hospital because the suspect was so intoxicated, the police said. The suspect also was wanted on two warrants.

The second suspect was taken to District 2 headquarters for questioning in the Jan. 5 burglary.
