1. Ms. Stewart
Martha Stewart has been a Chanel model, a mother and an inmate. In the summer of 2013, the undisputed Queen of DIY had an interview with Andy Cohen of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live.” During the conversation, Cohen compliments her craft skills and segues into cannabis, asking Ms. Martha point-blank if she knows how to roll. Her short answer: “Of course I know how to roll a joint.”
It appears the woman really can do it all.

2. Ms. Poehler
Comedy and cannabis go way back, and Amy Poehler, one of the funniest women on the planet, has tried marijuana — and possibly liked it — at some point. Poehler is the shining star of “Parks and Recreation” and the mother of two boys, Archie and Abel, with ex-husband Will Arnett. A little-known fact? She was once a judge at the High Times Cannabis Cup and told Conan O’Brien about the event in a 2012 interview,
“It’s a real event where people from all over the world come to try different weed and say which is the best.”
While the extent of Poehler’s use is hazy at best, what is clear is that she is no stranger to ganja.
3. Ms. Sarandon
If you have been under a rock the past year it’s possible you haven’t heard actress Susan Sarandon express her feelings on marijuana … several times. Fellow actress Kathy Bates has said she has personally tried the “good shit” with Sarandon, as recently as last June. Sarandon even graced this year’s High Times 40th anniversary party with her presence. She gave her insights on marijuana to The Daily Beast this past July:
“It will be legal everywhere, and that will cause a very interesting tipping point. Certainly, if more people were smoking instead of drinking, people don’t get mean on weed, don’t beat up their wives on weed, and don’t drive crazy on weed. They just get hungry, don’t go out of the house, or laugh a lot. I think it would make for a much more gentle world.”
Listen, the 60-something Sarandon has raised three children in addition to the 120-plus acting credits under her belt. She deserves the right to choose how she relaxes at the end of the day, just like the rest of us.

4. Ms. Portman
Vibrant mom Natalie Portman is well known for her movie roles across a variety of genres. She covered sci-fi as a young girl in “Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace,” she lent her talents to indie flicks like “Garden State,” she horrified us in the cerebral thriller “Black Swan” and the list goes on. In addition to her intense dedication to acting, Portman also graduated from Harvard with a degree in psychology. Entertainment Weekly interviewed her in December 2010:
“I love stoner comedies. I smoked weed in college, but I haven’t smoked in years. I’m too old. I wish I was that cool, but I’m like an old lady now. I’m in bed by 10 p.m. I can’t do that anymore.”
5. Ms. Madonna
What can be said about Madonna that hasn’t already been said 100 times before? We’ve seen the entertainer evolve from a “Material Girl” into a “Ray of Light” and she’s still in flux today. In 1994 she got some serious side-eyes when she used the “F” word 13 times during a nationally televised interview with David Letterman. A mother to four children and arguably one of the most famous women in the world, Madonna revealed to Letterman in a more recent interview that marijuana had been the cause of her potty mouth that night, saying: “I think it may have had something to do with the joint I smoked before I came on.”
